Answer application questions with Copilot

Generate answers with Simplify+ and reuse saved responses to matching questions.

Copilot can fill saved answers when the exact same application question appears again. Simplify+ also lets you generate a new response using your profile and the job details. Review each answer for accuracy, company names, and role-specific wording before you submit.

Generate a new answer with Simplify+

  1. Open Copilot on a supported application. Look for the question in Unique Questions or open Application Question AI.

  2. Check the question and the job description. Add instructions or facts you want the answer to use.

  3. Choose Generate with AI or the question’s generation action. You can also use the multiple-question options under Tailor Application → View all options where offered.

  4. Read and edit the result, then use the fill or copy action shown to place it in the application. Check the employer’s character limit and submit the application yourself.

The draft uses your profile, resume, and target job. Give it a specific example when the question asks for one, such as the project, your contribution, and the result. Do not use a generated achievement or claim that is not accurate.

Reuse an answer to the same question

Copilot can save responses from applications and refill one when the exact same question appears again. Similar wording is treated as a different question. For example, “Where do you see yourself in five years?” and “What are your future goals?” are not the same prompt.

Exact wording does not guarantee the old answer still fits. A reused “Why do you want to work here?” answer may name another company, and an availability answer may be out of date. Read it in the current application before submitting.

Update a saved response

Edit the answer the next time that exact question appears in an application, then review what Copilot uses on future matches. For an immediate change, correct the employer’s form directly before submission.

If a question stays empty

Check the AI-answer setting in Copilot if you expected automatic generation with Simplify+. A question can also require a manual answer because the form is unsupported or the profile lacks the necessary information. Complete it yourself and report an incorrect or unsupported field when relevant.
