About Job Matches

Job Matches is Simplify's personalized job recommendation feed, built to help you focus on roles that better match your background, goals, and preferences.

Every day, Simplify surfaces a fresh set of roles ranked against your profile, preferences, and experience so you can spend less time searching and more time applying intentionally.

The more context Simplify has about what you want, the better those recommendations become over time. That includes your experience, skills, preferred roles, locations, work authorization preferences, resumes, and the feedback you give on previous matches.

How Job Matches works

You receive a daily curated set of job recommendations personalized to your profile and preferences.

For every match, you can:

  • Apply

  • Save the role

  • Hide the role

  • Hide jobs from that company

  • Mark the role as Already Applied

Each match also includes a "Why This Job is a Match" section that shows which parts of your profile aligned with the role.

This gives you more visibility into why a job was recommended and helps you quickly judge whether the match feels accurate. If something feels off, your feedback helps improve future recommendations.

Use Matches daily

Job Matches refresh daily, which makes it easier to build a consistent application cadence instead of restarting your search from scratch every time.

πŸ“ Note: Reviewing at least five matches a day for a 7-day streak unlocks a Recruiter Highlight, which helps surface active and engaged candidates to recruiters and hiring teams searching for talent on Simplify.

Hiring teams use the experience, skills, and preferences in your profile to understand whether you may be a fit for the roles they're hiring for, so keeping your profile updated can lead to more relevant outreach over time.

Most Matches are also recent postings, so reviewing them early can improve your odds of getting seen during screening.

If you finish your current batch, you can refresh to generate additional recommendations.

Applying from Matches

Applying from Matches works best alongside Simplify Copilot, which helps you complete applications using the experience, skills, and resumes already connected to your profile.

Together, Matches and Copilot make it easier to review opportunities, tailor intentionally, and apply without rewriting the same information every time.

After applying, the role is automatically added to your Job Tracker so your search stays organized in one place.

Improving your Matches

Your Job Matches improve as your profile becomes more complete. The more context Simplify has about your background and goals, the better it can tailor recommendations to your search. That includes things like:

  • relevant experience

  • preferred roles

  • industries

  • locations

  • technical skills

  • work authorization preferences

You can also improve future Matches through feedback. If a recommendation feels especially relevant, or completely off, use the thumbs up/down controls to help tune future results.

If your goals or preferences change later, your Matches will adjust alongside them.
