Autopilot credits and failed applications

Check the weekly allowance, when credits are used, and how to finish a failed application.

Last updated About 2 hours ago

Simplify+ includes 20 Autopilot credits per week. One credit is used for a successfully submitted application, including any resume tailoring or cover letter generation for that application. Failed or cancelled applications do not use a credit, and unused credits do not roll over.

When credits are used

Choosing Autopilot starts a run but does not by itself spend a credit. A successful submission uses one credit. Resume tailoring and cover letter generation for that application are included. A failed or cancelled run does not use a credit.

Check the credit balance in the top-right of the website navigation or the Home screen in the iOS app. The weekly allowance resets to 20; credits you did not use in the previous period do not carry forward.

If you have no credits left

Wait for the weekly reset, save jobs you want to revisit, or apply manually with Copilot. Basic Copilot autofill does not use Autopilot credits. Check the allowance shown in your account rather than assuming you can submit an unlimited number of applications through Autopilot.

Why an application can fail

A run can fail if an answer is missing, a verification step cannot be completed, or the application form cannot be handled. The result in the Autopilot tab is the place to check that run. A failure is not a rejection from the employer and does not mean the employer reviewed your qualifications.

Autopilot may stop rather than submit an answer it cannot determine from your information. Other failures can be technical. Do not assume every failed run has the same cause.

Finish a failed application

  1. Open the failed run and read any available explanation.

  2. Correct missing or outdated information in Profile if relevant.

  3. Open the job’s regular Apply link and complete the employer’s form manually with Copilot.

  4. Review the form and submit it yourself. Check the employer’s confirmation and your tracker status afterward.

If the employer has already confirmed receiving the application, check that before trying again. If you cannot complete the form, contact support with the job title, company, application URL, and run details. Include a screenshot of an incorrect credit balance if that is the issue.
