Queueing and sending applications
Auto-apply to one job right away, or queue several, customize each one, and send them together. How the Autopilot queue works.

How the Autopilot queue works
There are two ways to hand a job to Autopilot. Apply now sends it immediately: open the job, choose Auto-apply with Simplify from the dropdown next to Apply, pick how you want the application prepared, and it goes. Add to Queue works like a cart: add jobs as you browse, then open your queue, decide how each one should be prepared, and send them together.
We built the queue because working through Job Matches or the Job Board shouldn't mean stopping at every posting. You can add five jobs in a couple of minutes, then set up and send all of them at once.
Sending means submitting. There's no review step in between. And queueing is free: a credit is only used when an auto-apply actually goes through, so nothing is charged for adding jobs or for an application that doesn't submit.
Credits and failed applications
How to add a job to your queue
Open a job on Simplify from Job Matches, the Job Board, or search.
Select Add to Queue in the action bar at the top of the job.
Choose how you want the application prepared: a resume tailored for this role, or your default resume to move faster.
Add to Queue appears only on postings Autopilot can complete. It supports a specific set of application systems. On other postings you'll see the regular Apply flow, and Copilot can still autofill the application for you.
A job you've already applied to can't be queued.
π‘ Tip: You can keep adding jobs to your queue even when you're out of credits. Queueing doesn't use any. They'll wait there until your credits reset, and you can send them then.
How to customize each application
For every job in your queue you choose:
Tailored resume: Autopilot rewrites your resume for this specific job before submitting it. Tailoring doesn't cost extra; it's included in the one credit. How aggressively it works keywords into your resume follows the tailoring settings you chose when you turned Autopilot on, and you can adjust those later.
Default resume: Autopilot sends the resume marked as default in your Documents. Faster, and what you want when the role is a close match already.
Cover letter: depends on the application. If it requires a cover letter, Autopilot writes one for that job. If a cover letter is optional, you choose whether to include one. If the application doesn't accept one, there's nothing to decide.
π‘ Tip: Every tailored resume and cover letter Autopilot creates is saved to your Documents, so you can review or reuse it afterwards.
Where your queue and history live
Everything Autopilot is doing for you is on the Autopilot page at simplify.jobs/autopilot.
Queue lists the jobs waiting to go out. Send them one at a time, or select several and use batch send.
History shows every auto-apply Autopilot has submitted, with its current status.
When you send a job, Autopilot completes and submits the application. There's no step in between where you review it. If you want to check an application before it goes to the company, use Copilot instead.
Getting started with Autopilot
π Remember: Autopilot fills the application from your profile. If it isn't confident about an answer, it fails the application rather than guess. No credit is used, and you can finish it yourself with Copilot.
