Profile Strength
Your Profile Strength score shows how complete your profile on Simplify is.
A stronger profile helps Simplify personalize your experience more accurately, from the jobs you see to the resumes you generate and the applications you autofill. The more complete your profile becomes, the better Simplify can tailor your job matches and recommendations to what you're actually looking for.
What your profile powers across Simplify
Your profile powers several of the most-used parts of Simplify:
Job Matches uses your profile, preferences, and experience to recommend jobs that fit what you're looking for.
Copilot autofills applications across major applicant tracking systems like Workday and Greenhouse using the information stored in your profile, so you don't have to keep re-entering the same details.
Resume Builder uses your profile information to generate and tailor resumes for specific jobs.
A more complete profile generally means stronger matches, more accurate autofill, and better resume tailoring across the platform.
A stronger profile makes it easier for recruiters to find you
Recruiters can source candidates directly through Simplify when you turn on Show Profile to Recruiters.
When the toggle is enabled, recruiters can discover you based on the experience, skills, and preferences listed in your profile. A more complete profile helps recruiters understand whether you're actually a fit for the roles they're hiring for, which usually leads to more relevant outreach.
π Keep in Mind: The toggle stays off by default until you choose to enable it.
If you're currently employed, your current employer is automatically hidden from seeing your profile.
See Editing your Profile after OnboardingΒ for what recruiters see and how to control the toggle.
How your profile and resumes stay in sync
The easiest way to improve your Profile Strength is by uploading a resume. Simplify parses your experience, education, and skills to pre-fill your profile automatically, so you can get set up quickly without entering everything manually.
An unfinished or outdated resume still works. Simplify uses the information that's already there to build the first version of your profile, and you can continue updating everything afterward as your experience changes.
Once your profile is complete, you can use the Resume Builder to generate resumes directly from your profile information. Your profile and resumes stay synced, so updating your profile automatically updates any resumes you've built in Simplify.
You can also upload newer versions of your resume later to refresh your profile information, whether you use Simplify's Resume Builder or maintain resumes outside the platform.
