TL;DR

  • See your network across every opportunity β€” Surface first-, second-, and third-degree LinkedIn connections, along with imported contacts, at companies you're interested in.

  • Know who to reach out to β€” See how you're connected to employees and hiring managers before you apply, giving you more context for networking and referrals.

  • Available throughout your search β€” Network insights appear across Job Matches, the Job Board, Job Lists, and supported applications in Copilot.

What Networking does

Networking helps you discover who you already know at the companies you're interested in.

Once you connect your LinkedIn account, Simplify maps your network against companies that are hiring and surfaces employees and hiring managers you may already have a path to through first-, second-, or third-degree connections.

You can also expand your network by syncing Google Contacts or importing contacts manually from a spreadsheet, giving Simplify more context to identify potential connections throughout your search.

The goal is to make it easy to see where relationships already exist before you invest time applying or reaching out.

Search your network

Once your network is connected, you can explore it from the Networking tab.

Networking lets you search your connections in natural language, making it easy to find people based on the companies, roles, or industries you're interested in. For example, you can search for:

  • people who work at Google or Microsoft

  • employees at startups or large tech companies

  • hiring managers and recruiters

  • product managers, engineers, or other specific roles

  • people connected to a company you're planning to apply to

Simplify searches across your first-, second-, and third-degree LinkedIn connections, along with any contacts you've synced or imported. For each result, you'll see how you're connected and can open their LinkedIn profile to reach out or learn more about them.

This gives you a much faster way to discover relevant connections.

Find connections where you're already applying

Networking is built directly into the rest of Simplify, so you don't need to search for connections separately.

Whenever you're viewing a job through Job Matches, the Job Board, Job Lists, or supported applications in Simplify Copilot, Simplify automatically checks whether you have existing connections at that company.

If you do, you'll be able to see:

  • any first-, second-, and third-degree LinkedIn connections working at the company

  • employees and hiring managers connected to your network

  • exactly how you're connected to them

Instead of manually searching LinkedIn for every company, you can immediately see whether you already have a potential introduction.

Get started with Networking

You can start using Networking in a few different places across Simplify.

You can enable it directly from the Networking tab in Simplify. If you haven't connected your network yet, Simplify will guide you through the setup process before showing your available connections.

If you're already browsing jobs, look for the Get referrals section on any supported job in the Job Board or Job Matches. If you haven't connected your network yet, Simplify will prompt you to get started before showing available connections.

You can also set up Networking from your Profile or by opening the Referral Network tab under Refer. From there, you can connect your LinkedIn account, sync your Google Contacts or Calendar, or import contacts from a CSV or spreadsheet.

Once your network is connected, Simplify automatically surfaces first-, second-, and third-degree connections across companies you're interested in, so they're available wherever you discover and apply to jobs.
